Our appliances have seen operational service with Local Authority Fire Services throughout the UK . They are fully equipped with all necessary emergency equipment.
2. ARE THEY REALY FIREFIGHTERS?
All of our personnel are currently serving members of a Local Authority Fire and Rescue Service or were formerly.
3. CAN OUR CHILDREN GO FOR A RIDE ON THE FIRE ENGINE?
In order to maintain our appliance as an operational a vehicle we need to retain our emergency status including blue lights and two tones. If we were to offer rides in the appliance we would need to remove these and all indications that this is an emergency vehicle. There is potential for the vehicle to provide rides but this can only be carried out on private land where the road surfaces are appropriate.
4. IS IT SAFE?
Our personnel are serving or former firefighters they are all CRB checked. The appliance is supervised by our staff at all times however there will be a requirement for suitable supervision to be provided at each venue as we are unable to provide sufficient staff for all children who may be at any given event.
