The Fun Service aim to provide children with a fun but informative
message relating to the risks associated with fire and the importance
of fire safety whether in the home or in their everyday lives. We are
available to visits children in their schools, clubs or activity groups.

Our aim is to educate children of all ages, key stages, through role
play, demonstration and appropriate education/literature.
We encourage children and through them their families to reduce the
risks from fire in the home. We stress the importance of smoke
detection in the home and encourage them to prepare a home fire plan.
This ensures that should they be unfortunate enough to suffer a fire in
the home they will know exactly what to do.

The Fun Service is available to hire for private parties however the work
detailed above is carried out on a charitable basis and we are available
to carry out these visits at no charge to your school/club. Your local Fire
Station will visit your School or club however through the nature of their
emergency services they are not always able to keep their appointments
or are called away prematurely. With the Fun Service you are guaranteed
that we will arrive and will stay for as long as it takes to get the message
across.
